The Streamwood Woman’s Club is proud to announce this year’s recipient for our $1,000 scholarship, Noah Munoz.
Noah is a recent graduate of Elgin High School. There he became part of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. He also competed as a Mathlete as well as a runner in track and cross-country, becoming a team captain for the latter. Noah was also part of the drumline for marching band. He is also the recipient of the State Seal of Biliteracy Award, MVP award for cross- country and an AP Scholar award. Click view more.
SWC helps beautify community park.
The Streamwood Woman’s Club, a local award-winning service club, helped beautify our community by planting the two gardens at Friendship Park in Streamwood, IL on Saturday, May 15th for Park Pride. Streamwood Woman's Club won the Hanover Township Community Service Award as the Outstanding Organization of the Year – Supervisor’s Choice in 2021. Congratulations to all of our members for accomplishing so much even in this challenging pandemic year.

2021 SWC $1000 Scholarship
Streamwood Woman's Club is offering a $1,000 Scholarship to a high school senior that resides in Streamwood who will be attending a college, university or trade school after graduation for 2021-2020. Please email swcscholarshipinfo@gmail.com for more information. Application deadline 04/13/2021.
SWC helps provide meal boxes.
"Each meal box contains a frozen turkey or ham, canned fruits and vegetables, coffee, dessert, gravy mix, instant potatoes and stuffing mix."

SWC gives back to community.
SWC raised $7,400 for 2017-2018, the following charities: Hanover Township Food Pantry, Hanover Township Youth and Family - Open Gym Program, Streamwood Police - D.A.R.E. Program, Streamwood High School - Drama Department, Gigi Playhouse, W.I.N.G.S. and Scholarships for a graduating senior resident of Streamwood.
SWC benefits local organizations.
The following organization received $1,300 donations: DARE program with the Streamwood Police Department; WINGS; Streamwood High School Theatre program; Hanover Township Food Pantry; and the Hanover Township Open Gym Program.
Additionally a $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Streamwood.

SWC offers scholarships to high school students.
For over 45 years, the Streamwood Woman's Club has been dedicated to improving the quality of life in its community and beyond. One of the ways in which they do this is to offer a scholarship each year to assist college or trade school bound students in pursuit of their educational goals. We are happy to announce that we are offering two scholarships this year.
