About

Who We Are

Streamwood Woman's Club is a core group of local women supporting Streamwood, IL and its surrounding communities.

The non-profit club was founded in 1967 and we promote community services through educational, charitable, civic and philanthropic endeavors.

SWC was called the SJWC, which was established in 1967.  Thank you to Lisa Mueller, a local history librarian at Poplar Creek Library, scanned and uploaded a Streamwood Jr. Woman’s Club Press Book from 1969-1970. We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
